Founder at Wira’s Playroom

A mother’s wish for a place where children feel at home.
Sara’s experience as Wira’s mother inspired her to create Wira’s Playroom. She wanted a place where her son could feel understood, enjoy learning, and receive the support he needed.
It began with Wira
At the time, his journey to and from school took two hours each day. The travel left him tired and took time away from family life. Sara began looking for a suitable learning environment closer to their home in Kemang.
When she could not find what she was looking for in South Jakarta, she decided to help create it. Together with Reshma Wijaya, she began building Wira’s Playroom.
Why a playroom?
The name reflects Sara’s hopes for childhood. She wanted learning to invite curiosity, creativity, and joy, giving children the freedom to explore without feeling rushed.
Play was central to that vision. A child who enjoys discovering something new can begin to see learning as an experience to look forward to. Wira’s Playroom brings that idea together with individualized support and care for the whole child.
A welcome for the whole family
Sara’s experience as a parent helped shape a place where families are part of the conversation. Their observations, questions, and hopes matter in understanding each child.
Working with Reshma, who shaped the educational approach, she helped turn a personal wish into a shared learning home. Wira’s Playroom carries that wish forward by offering a place closer to family, with time for play and room for every child to grow.
